Chris Beach - Senior Head Coach/Senior Coach and stalwart of Wainui Pony Club
Chris is passionate about pony club and has been a major asset to Wainui Pony Club in teaching the riders all about dressage and how to ride well rounded dressage tests. Chris owns and runs a riding establishments in Wainui and competes in varies different levels of dressage on varies horses she has bred and produced herself, she has also up skilled in her ability to teach at the pony club ready to pass on her knowledge to the senior riders.
Ginny Thompson - Senior Coach
Ginny is a pony club representative and solid performer as a 3* event rider. She is currently a member of the ESNZ Eventing Development Squad. Ginny has recently traveled with fellow Eventing riders to compete in the 3* and 4* eventing circuit in Australia with huge success. She is a super talent and has a wealth of teaching experience at Pony Club as well as being a role model for the up coming eventing riders at Wainui.
Fiona Tapp - Senior Coach
We welcome Fiona Tapp to the Wainui Pony Club family this season as a new coach. She will bring with her knowledge of eventing, show jumping and of the pony club association. Fiona spends most weekends out judging show jumping at woodhill sands, she is also a pony club certificate examiner and will create well rounded riders ready to sit certificates at the end of the season.
Sue Whiddett - Intermediate Coach
Sue is a much valued member of our pony club coaching team who specialises in safe jumping technique. Sue is a senior National Show Hunter Judge and judges at HOY. She is also co-ordinating the National Judges training programme. Sue’s knowledge of pony club training and competing at the top level has been of much benefit to our intermediate riders. We are so grateful Sue is able to return to coach this season.
Christine Latch - Junior Head Coach/Junior Coach
Christine Latch has been a member of pony club for many years and has been upskilling over the past seasons to now examine D through to C certificates. Christine is currently riding level 2/3 dressage as well as having lessons herself to not only upskill her own riding but also give her insight and ideas for her own coaching at pony club.
